This is ofcourse a fine opportunity for someone who doesn't have this lens.

But.. why do you sell it in the first place...?
I never would sell this lens and I do have some great other lenses too.

This will soon be gone.

I agree, but it rarely gets used and I have other priorities right now such as a replacing a dying air conditioning unit in my home.

I've had a request for pics of the glass. Here's my best effort. The front has always had a Tiffen UV filter and the rear is wearing the provided mount cover when not in use.

With all due respect, Wayne, you have your priorities wrong. If it gets too hot at home, just take your camera and the FA 50 and go outside to shoot, thus killing two birds with one stone.

I would love nothing more than to take the $3000 that's going into the AC and buy lenses and other assorted goodies.
