Ricoh Rikenon XR 135mm f2.8 K-mount Lens

Item Description
The Ricoh Rikenon XR 135mm 2.8 lens is an underrated performer from the good old days of SLR photography. The lens has pleasing color rendition, sharpness, and bokeh.

As far as this copy is concerned, it has about 5 dark spots on one of the middle elements (this is an india ink used to cover tiny abrasions that were in the glass, thus helping avoid glare and other problems made by the imperfections) - these spots are very visible looking through the lens but as far as I can tell do not effect the lens' performance. Also, the front filter ring is pretty marked up, and there is a noticeable amount of side to side play in the focusing ring (maybe 1mm each direction). The lens takes very nice pictures, even with its little niggles.

Just to clarify, the spots are not visible in the viewfinder, only when looking through the lens (when it is not mounted) from the front or rear and with the aperture wide open. The spots have no effect on image quality that I can discern. It is the same idea that if you take a small piece of post it note and put it on the front of your lens, you won't be able to see it looking through the viewfinder.
