[SOLD] smc pentax-f 1.7x af adapter and remote

As stated in previous posts, I've switched over to another system more suitable to wildlife photography, so it's time to pass my Pentax equipment on to those with a use for it.

I'll be listing two items at a time, usually one premium item with one misc. item. Listings will last 48 hours, at which time, if not sold, I'll list them on eBay.

Prices will be firm, in US$ with free shipping -insurance extra if required. If paying using PayPal, I'll split the fees 50/50.

I apologise in advance for the lack of quality of the photos. I'm not a product photographer, obviously.

First response in the thread will get the item.

First item here is a like-new condition PENTAX-F 1.7x AF ADAPTER. This TC converts some manual lenses to automatic focussing and maintains AF on many lenses. I used it with great results on my FA*300/4.5. I do not know which other lenses it works well with. You probably do. Never used -(I have 2) Comes with original caps, box (not in best shape) and instructions.

Looking for $370 US$ FIRM, shipped worldwide, insurance extra if required.

Next is a like-new remote that works flawlessly. I can't remember the manufacturer. You can activate autofocus, release shutter, activate continuous drive mode or keep the shutter open for bulb photography as well. I have used this unit with my K100D up to 100 feet -it will focus, then take the shot -from any direction. Unlike IR remotes, you can operate this unit from behind, beside the camera. A lot more useful!

$28 USD shipped worldwide.

That tc sure is highly sought after. I'm glad I own mine! Btw, I own the remote you show here but I never could get it to work. Care to give me some hints about it?

Hi Laree

Use of this remote is fairly straightforward.

Make sure both parts (remote and receiver) are set to the same numbers.

Activate the receiver that plugs into the camera by pushing the orange button. The red LED indicator should flash. Half press the remote to focus (green light will come on), then increase pressure to take the shot. (Red light will come on).

Are you getting the proper LED responses?

Tom
