[SOLD] Pentax A35-105mm F3.5

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Pentax A35-105/3.5

Asking Price
7th revision to EUR 100.

Item Description
This A35-105/3.5 served me for some time as a bridge between my DA16-45/4 and Sigma EX70-200/2.8. However, since getting the DA*16-50/2.8 and DA*50-135/2.8 I no longer use it.

I kept it for a while for use on my MX, but when I do put a roll of film into that camera, I always put a prime on it (mostly the M40/2.8 pancake).

This lens is probably one of Pentax's best zooms of the pre-AF era. Fixed aperture at f/3.5 made it a very fast lens in its day and it still is today. It is fairly large and heavy but only extends very little when zooming or focussing and as such balances very evenly.

My copy is in excellent condition with perfect glass. It comes with front and rear caps.

Wim

Just lowered my price to EUR 150 because I found some others for sale here. That's more in line with the going asking price.

Nudge nudge...

Had a few PM's from interested parties, but the lens is still up for sale.

Pentax's most underestimated zoom IMHO, designed for use on the LX, that should say sth about it... Don't miss it if you're looking for sth in between standard and telezooms...

I'll give it another bump. Seems a shame to let mine sit unused, it so desperately wants a new owner that will use it more often.

I'll even lower the price a bit to EUR 140.

Let me tell you about this seller.

He is a good guy.

Don't know too much about him, besides the fact that he's a frequenteer of both a belgian photography forum and this one here, and that he sold me a great lens. Really a pleasure to deal with.

(Will anybody help me in a similar way? My items for sale could use a bump or two, too....)

I have to agree, Syb. Last year I bought a "used" TC from Wim via this forum and if he would have told me that it was new, I would have believed him. Really mint.

If I did not already own this lens, I would have bought this one. It is a great lens from a very reputable seller.

While heavy, it is indeed a very fine lens. Performs well on both film and digital.

Some image samples from mine.

I would buy this but I already have a copy with slight front element damage (got it for 50 euros).

This is a very good lens and his price is low. Someone, buy this ASAP!
