Pentax-A 1.4X-L rear converter, like new.

Item Description
Like new Pentax-A 1.4X-L rear teleconverter. Glass is clean, no scratches, fungus. Actually it looks like never used, only few tiny signs of usage is on the rear plastic cap ( I hate these cheap pentax rear caps) , front metal cap is scratch free. Comes with S70-70 soft punch and original caps.

I've heard that it works well with DA 200mm F2.8 too.

150EUR shipped to EU countries. I think it's reasonable price, isn't it?

Are you sure this TC will work combined with the DA*200? (I wil try immediately when I come home this evening. And will let you know)

This is an exceptional teleconverter. Long glass - that is what you need them for - normally shows the weaknesses of your teleconverters. But the 1,4xL makes hardly any image degredation while providing for a great extra length!

.... bump....

If this tc was not yet in my A*300 trunk, I would buy it in a split second.

I got it from a Pentaxian, who said that he used this combination (da*200mm +1.4-L). I'll do some measurments with sliding callipers and post later.

FYI: at my request, the protruding element dimensions are now included in the lens review database.

The 1.4x-L TC works well w/ FA*200/2.8, actually it's a suggested TC for this lens on Pentax' accessories brochures. The DA*200/2.8 seems to have the same design and almost the same physical dimension too (except it's slightly thicker on the barrel, and a tad more heavier), I guess the 1.4x-L TC should work just fine on the DA*200/2.8

Is there any reason this would not work with my screw-mount Takumar 500mm (with k-mount adapter, of course)? The AF 1.7 tc does but I'm concerned worry about sharpness.
