Like new Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4.5 Macro DC. Comes with all original papers, caps and box. Purchased new 6 months ago. Excellent all round lens. Price US $255 (AUD $370).

Option to purchase a Hoya HMC Super UV(0) filter 72mm with the lens for half the retail price. Filter is LN, comes with case and was used with the lens. Price US $25 (AUD $35)

Buy both the lens and filter for US $280 (AUD $405) and I'll include a Hoya 72mm +4 close up filter/lens for free. Free shipping in Australia.

Will consider a trade for a FA43 f1.9 (black) + $$ from me or Pentax DA 12-24 + $$ from me

Just discovered that Sigma has 10% rebate on new lenses in the US, so price reduced 10% for everyone. New price US $255 (AUD $370). UV filter still US $25 (AUD $35) and free closeup filter if buying both.

I'll also do free shipping in Australia, if buying lens + UV filter.

I think your prices are very OK. The Pentax equivalent is quite a bit pricier - about US$500 here in Canada with taxes, for which you get the name and the SMC coating, I know - but I'm not aware that anyone has complained about the image quality of the Sigma! Just hang on a bit, money's really tight for a lot of people. Otherwise there's always that other place, where you should get your asking price.

Thanks for that. I'm not in a rush to sell, so I can wait. This is a good copy of the Sigma & I'd prefer to pass it on to another forum member and let them enjoy the same results it has given me.

I agree that it's a nice price. I've been watching this one on ebay since I'm sorta interested, and I've seen a couple in the $200 range for Buy It Now, but those are flukes. Most are your price or higher.
