[SOLD] Pentax-FA 50mm f/2.8 macro & Ricoh 105mm f/2.8 macro
I have 3 great macro lenses and need to sell two. These are the two that I am parting with. I accept payment by paypal and will provide more info or pictures on request.
1. Pentax-FA f/2.8 macro. You all know the reputation and this copy lives up to it. perfect glass, no scratches or fungus. Aperture blades are oil free and snappy. Some slight marks on the body, but no signs of misuse or abuse. Includes caps and pentax soft bag.
Asking USD$265 + actual shipping PRICE REDUCED
2. Ricoh Rikenon P macro 105mm f/2.8. Yes, this is the same as the Kiron, Vivitar Series 1 or Lester Dine, made by Kino Precision. This lens is MINT, with virtually no signs of use. Glass, body, blades all perfect. Even the quality control sticker is mint. It has the Ricoh P setting and pin but this does not catch on any of my AF bodies. Original caps and you won't find a better copy of this lens.
Asking USD$240 + actual shipping SOLD

These are among the best macro lenses available, surely someone is interested.
The prices are very fair, it's just that the marketplace is very cautious right now. It's a bad time to be selling. Last year at this time, both of these would have been gone in a couple days at these prices.
I'm familiar with the Ricoh pin issue but not the "P" setting. I assume on Ricoh it's for "program (auto) aperture", eh? But does that setting work on Pentax equipment?
Also, the photo shows macro down to 1:1.5. Does it go to 1:1 or stop there? (I was thinking the Viv/Lester/Kiron variants did 1:1, but don't know them that well).
If it does PKA and does 1:1 (or at least matches magnification of other PKA Viv/LD/Kiron variants) then it's a very good price indeed! Maybe potential buyers aren't realizing this is as good a deal as those (if in fact it is).
Anyone worried about the Ricoh pin will I think quite easily find advice on the forum for dealing with it (I'm sure I just saw clear removal instructions with photo illustrations in some thread I happened upon).
I remember seeing this listing last week, and am surprised the 105mm macro hasn't been snapped up yet. I think if it was the Vivitar Series 1 or Lester Dine versions, at this price, it would have gone within hours. Perhaps the unknown with the Ricoh version, though if the optics are the same, it's an amazing lens and a fair price. Good luck.
I don't think that this is a PKA lens. If not, it will not autometer on Pentax.
