[SOLD] FS: Wide Angle SMCP-FA 31mm f/1.8 Limited - Black

Brand new 31mm limited black body lense for sale. All peperwork, box, UPC intact. Sadly, I've realized that my photo skills are nowhere near what this lense is capable of. If you wish to check my reputation, my eBay id is syampolsky.

Here are my conditions:
  • Asking $950.
  • Will take PayPal, Money Orders or Checks.
  • I prefer PayPal because it's fast.
  • If using PayPal, add $28 to the price to cover PayPal fees.
  • If using checks, I will have to wait until funds clear before I ship the lense.
  • Shipping included within US.
  • Will ship internationally but you'll have to cover any shipping costs.
  • Contact me via syampolsky@hotmail.com
.

Steve,

do you still have the UPC strip so as to my being able to recover the rebate?

Everything is intact, including the UPC. Even the little packets they put into boxes to keep moisture out. Leather case, plastic bags, everything is intact.

Wow. You guys have some hefty shipping prices within the US. Or does it come in an hour, delivered with an F-16?

Jonas,

I assume you are commenting on $28 extra charge. This is NOT the cost of shipping. As a matter of fact, I will pay for shipping within the US. $28 is how much PayPal will charge me for receiving money from a buyer(2.9% of the total amount is what they charge). If you are willing to wait for your check to clear, you can save $28.

Steve,

you got an offer; check your email; if you pick up shipping then I'll pick up the PayPal charge.

No, I was refering to the fact that you ask for $70 more than the price for a new one before rebate. Usually used stuff sell for less than the price for new stuff. Of course, for anyone that cannot wait...
But $950 compared to $780 (after rebate) is a bit hefty in my book.

Now my primary intention is not to ruin a good deal for you. You'll probably find a buyer anyway. It was a comment anyone can do whatever from. Hefty price, but shipping included... Ok then.

But not for me, I have owned the FA31 twice. A love/hate affair - ended up with me constantly cheating on the FA31.

At this point, the offer is not accepted as I am waiting for a clarification from Tony. The lense is still up for sale.

No problem Jonas, I understand your comment now. In your estimate, you are failing to take two things into account:

1) Shipping. It cost me very close to $950 to get the lense. Granted, I opted for speedy delivery and paid accordingly. Nevertheless, all I am looking to do here is recover what I paid for it.

2) The lense is next to impossible to buy even if I did get it for 880 as you claim, my markup is NOWHERE near the kind of markups you get on Amazon:This one is being offered for $1200!

I am not looking for a profit here, just trying to recover what I paid for it.

Steve's lens

Steve declined my offer, so his is available to anyone who doesn't want to go to B&H's website.

This new forum look is great. One question though: how does one mark items as SOLD?

I ordered the 31mm limited brand new from B&H last Thursday... with 2 day shipping it was $900.95...plus, I'll snag the rebate.

It arrives tomorrow! <Correction! It arrived today!!> I'll post pics later on!

B&H is currently still showing it in stock.

Best of luck with your sale... I imagine someone will snag it once B&H is out of stock again.
