I'm asking $350 for the whole kit. If you want individual lenses, PM me with offers and you'll be first in line if the full kit doesn't sell.
These are not your typical eBay lenses. I picked these up locally Palm Beach County Florida and hand selected them myself. Original leather cases where available.
- Tele - Takumar 200mm f/5.6
- Near perfect condition with hood, front & rear caps, and original Takumar custom leather case
- Super Multi-Coated Takumar 105mm f/2.8
- Near perfect condition with hood, front & rear caps, and original Takumar custom leather case
- Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4
- Average condition with generic case, caps, & UV filter. Obvious signs of use and the lenses are yellowing. Lens mechanical functions are perfect.
- This is one of the classics with the rare coatings that are no longer used. You can see in the picture that the yellowed glass is otherwise clear & free of fungus & obvious scratches. A little time in the sun (up to 4 weeks) should render the glass crystal clear.
- Super Multi-Coated Takumar 28mm f/3.5
- This is one of my favorites. Wonderfully sharp and a good focal length on digital for indoor use.
- The lens has a trim collar between the aperture & focus rings that has come loose. I’ve actually never seen this on a Takumar lens before. I put this one on my Pentax digital SLR and it works wonderfully, you simply can’t read what the aperture is set to, so count the clicks. I used it to take the picture of the 200mm lens so have a look at that sample image.
- The ‘Auto’ switch doesn’t seem to move, but it’s set for use on a modern film/digital anyway, so that shouldn’t be an issue for most.
- Includes original Takumar custom leather case, caps.
Accessories: - Full set of extension tubes in M42 for those of you who enjoy macro photography.
- These are in LIKE NEW, MINT condition and include the custom case.
- Kamero 2x tele-converter.
- Like new MINT condition with case.
- Two (2) Bower M42 lens to Pentax K mount camera adapter rings with keys.
- Like new MINT condition with boxes.
What to expect:
The 28mm produces excellent sharp pictures with an almost 3D quality. Smooth out of focus areas (Bokeh) and well balanced color. For my taste, this lens produces near perfect results. You just have to live with a few physical flaws - It's like living with a model who has a small scar on her elbow.
The 50mm offers excellent sharpness and an exciting, even stellar bokeh. Terrific lens. The color is very good despite the yellowing glass. Once the yellowing is cleared up, this will be an outstanding lens.
The 105mm produces a very sharp image with an exciting bokeh similar to the 50mm, but adds the rich, deep color that this lens is famous for - Even wide open. This lens deserves to be on a studio camera.
The 200mm offers the rich colors with a beautiful, smooth bokeh. I enjoy those qualities most in this lens. It also offers a more generous depth of field.
