[SOLD] FS: Pentax 31mm/1.8ltd and 77mm/1.8ltd

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
FS: Pentax 31/1.8ltd and 77/1.8ltd

Asking Price
$800/$700 obo

Item Description
The "crown jewels" of the Pentax lenses. I love these lenses, but I'm going in a different direction and want to sell to fund some other purchases. I'm keeping my 43/1.9 for a "one lens" experiment, but the other FA ltds have to go.

31/1.8ltd. Made in Japan, includes all paperwork and original packaging as well as the original lens cap, bag, and a 58mm Pentax pinch cap as well. Has had a B+W MRC UV filter since new. No dings, dents, scratches. $800 obo (includes filter)

77/1.8ltd. Made in Japan, includes all paperwork and original packaging as well as the original lens cap and bag. B+W MRC UV filter on since new. No dings, dents, scratches. $700 obo (includes filter).

Wow, beautiful lenses. Nostatic, it kind of saddens me to see you put the 31 mm and 77 mm up. (Price comment edited by monitor) These will be gone fast. Does 'different direction' mean phase out Pentax?

Currently the plan is to buy a K7 and shoot the 43 with that and possibly the 50-135* as a street/travel system. But it also depends on what Leica announces on 9/9/09. If they are doing a Panaleica u4/3 with some Leica-built lenses I may go with that as my "small" setup.

Never thought of that! Where did you get that date, though?

Edit: Never mind, I just found out.

Oh dang. You really weren't kidding when you said that you would sell your 31mm before your 50-135mm... Hope the sale goes well. I was assumed you were leaving Pentax system after your Sony FF post and the recent market place threads.

No Sony in my future. I do have some work coming up where I could benefit from FF and good hi iso (eg shooting inside of 40' shipping containers with only ambient light). So I'm pondering either 5Dmk2 or D700, with a lean towards Canon due to the glass.

My hope is to swap the K20d for K7 and keep the 43 and 50-135* for a street setup.

Someone asked for a wide open shot:
