For Sale is an Pentax made Takumar Bayonet 135mm f2.5 Lens in Excellent condition.

This lens is a short telephoto featuring an unusually fast aperature. It is compact and light and has a really great built in hood. Used under the right conditions, it can take excellent and sharp photos, even wide open.

This particular sample is in excellent condition. The glass is clean and clear. No fungus, yellowing or scratches. The lens coating is in perfect condition. The focus ring is silky smooth and the aperature ring clicks solidly. The body has a bit of minor brassing.

The only problem is that a tiny bit of oil got onto the blade a long time ago. The amount is so minute you can only see it from the front and in strong light. It is a really light stain and does not currently seem wet at all. I have not noticed any slowing of the blades and exposure still looks perfect. I have monitored the situation and I do not believe it to be a continuing issue. This lens is fully functional, but because of this, I am offering this lens for only $40+shipping.

This is a wonderful opportunity to try this lens for a low price. Generic front and original rear caps included.

I've had this very same lens for many years: despite the fact that it is not a "SMC" lens, I have had a great amount of excellent pix using this lens! I still consider it one of my favs and always have it near by. You have to try it out.
