SMC Pentax-A 35-105mm f1:3.5 + Filters

Asking Price
$150 (shipped CONUS)

Item Description
I bought this lens from Ninerref 2 weeks ago. I used it a couple of time when I got it for some assignments where I needed focal lengths between 35 and 50mm but since I got the DA* 16-50, I have no need for it. I'm soon to get the DA* 50-135 too so I have to make space in my arsenal for it. I'm copying the same description that Ninerref had on his thread here: THREAD LINK

It is sharp across the full focal range. It has a macro function which gets you to 1:4. It also has a 67mm filter ring which currently has a UV lens attached which will come with the lens.

The glass is clean and has no known issues. Additionally, the aperture blades are snappy and oil free. No fungus or any other issues.

Additionally you will get a Hoya Close-Up Filter set that I may even be willing to add for the right price. It includes the standard +1, +2 and +4 Macro Filters and case.

Pictures by Ninerref. Additional pictures are available by request.

I have a copy of this lens and it's one of my favorites (it's on my K20D even as I write)--worthy of a cult following, imho.

Agreed.

I sold mine not too long ago because I was spoiled by prime AF lenses. However, among everything that I've ever used, I think this was the only zoom that was as good as the best of my primes.

It's definitely a great lens. The reason I'm selling it is because I'm getting the DA* 50 -135mm and I will feel bad for having this lens in my bag without using it. Through personal therapy, I'm trying to slow get over my LBA and cut down on my lenses to the ones that I only use often.

Due to my financial situation, I will not be able to afford the DA* 50-135mm. Thus I've decided to keep this lens for any short telephoto range assigment that i have. Sorry everyone who was interested.
