No interest in the lense? Or is my shipping ability killing things?

I wouldnt have a problem with Korean shipping thing ... I believe your market is restricted (USA) and that you may have better results opening to the world. What do the shipping charges matter if the buyer is paying. I would have been interested but picked one up a month ago.

The big problem is getting accuracy of quoting shipping. For international i have to use fedex to be able to get a tracking # on international. Also for that i have to go to a different Army Base to do that. At my base, USPS Priority is the best route. If i try to do international with USPS, there is no tracking system, and it can take 2-3 weeks for the lens to get to an international destination. The 70-200 was from the U.S, that i got from another forum member.

Steve is a great seller. My lens took less than 4 days from Korea. Too bad I already own this one.

I am not certain but given where you are and your shipping issue. If you are using USPS you should be able to ship using either International Priority or, your best bet, is USPS International Express mail. No matter which you choose, the Customs number is the tracking number.

I never had an issue with any of my buds in the service where they ran into a shipping dilema like yours so I am not sure if all USPS service classes are available to you. Just thought I would toss out that one in case it helps sell to a wider audience.

I ship a LOT (from the US though) of more spendy items than your lens and always used EMS (USPS Express Mail) to CMA, and turns out as a rule EMS is very reasonable on high dollar items compared to other options plus as a rule parcels get processed through customs very quickly. Last, If you do ship to a non-US buyer make sure to declare the lens as USED on the forms. Most EU countries (not sure about Asia though) do not charge duty on used lenses when declared as "USED {insert maker name & model here} CAMERA LENS.

Hope maybe there have such services for all you guys over there...they danged well SHOULD!!

Good luck on the sale.

When I was in the Marine Corp we could ship stuff home for free. Why not ship it home and sell it from your Family's house and have them ship it. Just a Thought....Of coarse when I shipped stuff home the post office was still using horses.
