Also includes a new Pentax F remote and a like-new Magic Lantern Guide for the K100D (not pictured). I am the original owner of these items. When I checked recently, the camera had a shutter count in the 9000's, which I think it still does, since I've used it little since then. I bought it new 6 or 7 months ago, and it's a great camera - much better overall than a new K2000/K-m, for example. It still feels like when it was new to me. It takes quality pictures - especially in RAW - and it accepts all the lenses (like the DA 17-70 SDM) because it is the Super model. Being the follow-on to the original K100D, it already includes the refinements, so Pentax never released a firmware update for it. I'm only selling it because I recently bought two newer, more expensive models (the K200D and the K-x). I like the newer cameras a little better, but I hardly noticed the change! This one will still give you a great camera and great pictures for less money. It will also allow you to build up a lens collection that cost over 5 times that of the camera and still realize the benefits!   Pentax DA 18-55 AL II Lens (the noticeably better one, image quality wise) in excellent condition, also in box. Includes hood and rear cap. Comes with a UV filter but no front cap. I am not the original owner of this one. It is better than the new DA L 18-55 kit lens, because it has better construction, the "quick-shift" feature, and includes the hood. By the way, the product photos were all taken with this lens or its DA L counterpart. For some reason it often works better for product photos than my more expensive lenses (partly because it features close-focus)! Price: $270 for everything, or $220 without the lens/hood/cap/filter. | Site Supporter Location: Southern California Posts: 23 | More on camera condition The only mark I can find on the camera is on the bottom, as shown in the third picture. This is from mounting the camera on a tripod. Also, I noticed that, for some reason, the buttons and controls on my used K200D felt a bit "loose" by comparison, despite having only half as many shutter actuations as this K100D Super. I think the buyer will be happy with its condition. |

The second buyer still wants it but is having trouble arranging to send the funds, so (as we arranged) the camera is still available until he can pay. However, although he wants the lens, at this point I'm thinking of keeping the lens, because it does such a good job of taking product shots for online sales. |
