#9,10 and 12 are my favorites
#1 is example of how single detail kills the whole picture. But the spoon is out of focus (looks like lenss with non-flat plane was used) and second, spoon itself doesn't match the rest of picture. Just replace the spoon for more fancy one and picture will shine!

I am sorry to point out AZ, but comments like you make above, though maybe valid, only serve to influence voting at this stage. Entrants should not have to be pro'd or conned whilst voting is still happening.
Save the critique till after the results are declared and then, go for it.
My opinion for what its worth.
Congrats to all entrants for a great collection of shots of somewhat difficult subjects.

I have voted but like Bruce (Bramela) I think it's better to critique afterwards. It's much more civilised that way.

I suspect that you are new in photography, otherwise, it would be obvious to you that focus is on the coffee level, and spoon is out of focus.
Btw, spoon, in relation with handle forms a nice check mark, and leads the eye to a smiley in coffee.

Good luck to all, some nice shots here.

Sorry about the critique but #13 kills me.
I actually thought of doing something simular. Twisted minds think alike.

The colors of #2 are really special, they remind me of colors in old time-life cooking books.

Pardon my ignorance; but when do we see results?

I have voted by-the-way.

On another note; there seems to be conjecture as to why a shot was taken so - I would just like to add that different people will have different views of the same shot.

Does it all have to be textbook stuff - where is the creativity in that!

Well done all ENTRANTS - you are so creative and ohhhhhhhhhh sooooooooooooooo artsy. These really are enjoyable to look at.

I'll have to come back a couple of times before I decide.
