Wanted: [CLOSED] SMC Pentax-FA 80-320mm F4.5-5.6

Darn, so close!!! But how about an AF 80-319mm f4.5-5.6?

Okay, I'll explain: I got a dud from eBay which always shot wide open, but even wide open photos were sharp enough for me to want to send the lens in to Eric for repairs. After about $75, the aperture was fixed but the AF didn't work when zoomed out all the way -- Eric tried to explain saying it was because of some damage but it went over my head.

Bottom line: It works great execpt at 320mm where you'd have to MF. A hairline backtwist, you've got your AF and viola!

Its not quite exactly what you are looking for, a mere 1mm less, but didn't want to pass up an opportunity to tell my story! in case you are interested!

I have a silver version in very good condition I'm willing to sell for $100 including shipping. I picked it up in a lot sale and only snapped a few pics just to see if it works.

Lens includes the orignal front and rear caps and the original box.
