Knock, knock!

No joke, yet. That'll come later. Just introducing myself as a new member. A lifelong Pacific Northwesterner and longtime Pentax user (I still shoot the Spotmatic I bought in the early '70s) who's just gotten a K10D from Santa. Yes, I have been a good girl lately! This looks like a good group of folks with a shared interest, so I'm looking forward to visiting, virtually!

Welcome to the best Pentax forum on the net!

I am new here as well. I just sold off my Canon gear and ordered the K10D, which I am still waiting for...

You are right about the people here, they have been a very nice group of shutter punchin' folks!

Hope to see some shots from you real soon!

Just got my Spotmatic back from Eric Hendrickson (CLA and light meter repair), but I guess I wasn't as good as you were. I only got a K100d Super. Welcome

Welcome! I'm new"ish" here too. Been a Pentax user since 1978 and always been happy with the performance of Pentax. I'm figuring I'm not been good since I'm still waiting for Santa to drop off MZ-S and eight lenses and the K10D and two lenses. I'm surviving with my LX and MX since they are super cameras anyway. Hey... enough about me... Welcome and hope to see you all inside the forums.

Welcome Christine from a fellow Seattle Pentaxian! Since the sun finally came out this weekend, for the first time since your camera arrived I should add, have you had a chance to try out any of your old M42 primes? I too received my "best present ever" from Santa, and cannot believe how great it is to be able to use all the old lenses. You'll be glad you joined, this is a great group of very knowledgeable and generous users!

G'day Christine and welcome.
Love your part of the world, have some friends in Oregon and have toured around the magnificent Pacific North West a bit. Beautiful country.
Cheers
Grant
