Hiya, new here

Been taking pictures since I was a boy, had a Spotmatic F in the 70's, a P30 in the 90's, ME11 and MX as spare bodies, finally getting the *Ist D when it came out and being thankful I kept most of my old lenses. Going to buy the K10D shortly, as soon as I can find one in stock at a good price. I am a died-in-the-wool un-apologetic Pentax User, and happy to be so. I am mostly interested in Macro and Landscape work, having done weddings, and had my fill of the stress involved. I also like tinkering, modifying gear, and coming up with innovative solutions to techie problems.

What a nice bunch of people you are
I am a bit reticent to post my own stuff, I always think its not good enough. Same with giving advice, there's so many folk who will certainly know more than I do. But this is certainly a friendly site and I am looking forward to a long association. I'm off out now to take some pics of a waterfall which should be in spate after the heavy rain. If I get anything decent, I may post.

Welcome and I must say I get to visit places I may never see and Scotland is high on the list throught pictures posted here. Don't worry we will be nice

I know what you mean about being reticent to post, but I hope you'll overcome because I've always wanted to go to Scotland, but don't know when I'll be able to , so the next best thing is pictures!
