the latest noob...

I just bought a Pentax P3N for my photography class so that is where I am starting with my fascination of photography... Eventually, I should be moving into the digital K10D owners club but for now, I am "stuck" with what I have in the good way... So I just wanted to introduce myself formally considering I have already been browsing for around a week...

Welcome to the forum! We have quite a few film users here, so if you have any questions, I'm sure they will be glad to help out.

Glad to have you here and hope to see some photos soon!

Happy shooting!

oh, and thanks guys... i am looking forward to what the future of photography holds... wow, that sounds textbook-like... oh, well... i just made my first contact sheet today and I am pretty happy with the results considering I under-developed the film and ended up using a +3.5 filter and only exposed the sheet for 3 seconds... (let's just say the rest of the class was using +2.5 filters and exposing for 7-8 seconds)

Contact sheets? I have never had the fun of doing that but wish I did.
