Hello, everyone!
[For the short version, read the first paragraph and then jump to the last paragraph.]
I'm Stephen, but lots of my friends call me Stevopedia I got that nickname from a very good friend of mine who supposed I knew everything (

) and it's stuck for a while now. (Though, to be fair, I do know a little about a lot of things... and a lot about others.) I'm what some people would call eccentric, with interests ranging from photography (analog and digital) to writing to fountain pens(!) to vintage hi-fi audio gear.
I'm still (more than) a bit of a beginner at photography. I started last year in the Summer on my dad's K1000 (yes, I am a second generation Pentaxian and proud of it!

). I learned the barest of essentials then (focussing and metering, basically). I really liked photography then.
And then came photo class in school, where... I became hopelessly, deeply in love with photography (and the K1000!) I learned a bunch more there--mostly in the darkroom (we developed and printed everything by hand) but also some valuable bits about composition. Along the way one of my relatives gave me their K1000 SE (brown leather!) and a gaggle (well, three) of lenses (how nice of them!)
Basically I'm a bright-eyed and enthusiastic newcomer with more than a little love for Pentax!
