Bonjour from Versailles, France

Hi all
Just another American a long way from home, but who was able to take advantage of a great exchange rate and buy a K20d in the US with Euros on a visit back home in April.

I have an old Pentax ZX-5 (1981?) and several lens. I have been waiting for digital slrs to come down enough in price to buy one, but it's been a long wait. I am SO happy about this camera!

And the major bonus for me is that my teenage kids are actually getting interested too - we almost fight over who takes the shot!
SO both cameras are getting a work, and the old ZX-5 has a new lease on life.
Really happy to be here.
Anne

Cool!

The best price in Europe seems to be €822. In the UK SRS has the best price at £699, or €886. Adorama/B&H have the K20D at $1050, which is €674. I have to pay almost that for the K200D locally. Sheesh!
