You are most welcome...Glad to share any and all info I might have! Actually it has won more..It was picked by Steve's Digicams as a POTD and then placed second for the month of November. I get a prize for that one!! LOL
This is a very good example that camera and lens are much overrated today.
It is the post-processsing that counts.
Give a half-decent photo to a good Photoshopper and you will be amazed about the results.

As with film where you sent the photo to the lab and had it stepped on or dodged or Burned to your specifications...The art of photography is a process. Beginning with the subject and the composition it continues on with the settings and way in which the camera is held...all of this can be augmented and aided by good post processing. The final results is what matters....Even the old time pros processed the photo to get the intended results...I've yet to see written in stone by the Good Lords hand that post processing is a sin..It's not it is a gift to us under experienced and wayward photogs...LOL
Nice processing I bet you're glad you didn't delete it.
You betcha...My Mom made me keep everything I photographed saying you never know what will be a good memory so I've tried to do as she asked so many years ago and keep every one of my photos good and bad...Sure paid off this time...Ain't it a wonder how smart your parents become as we get older?? LOL
Somehow I missed voting that month, so I just saw this picture for the first time. It truly is gorgeous! And very inspiring, seeing how a plain shot can become so fabulous.
