Geko, so sorry to hear of your family's loss. As I look at your photo of Moritz, I look up, across my living room, at portraits of two of my own cats whom I laid to rest in recent years. I can feel how much you miss Moritz in the depth of my own feelings for Ringo and Madhu. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I'm glad you had the chance to take parting portraits, too.

I had never thought before, that one could miss his pet so deeply. But I had to learn, that you are fallig ionto a deep hole, that you have to struggle out.

A month ago my beloved little dog Leyla went to dogs' paradise. She has followed us from Costa Rica to Colombia, France, and now Senegal, a perfect partner for the last 14 years.
