The PIPE Here again...and when I heard about a visit by three of The Collings Foundation ( http://www.collingsfoundation.org/menu.htm ) vintage WW II aircraft to Norwood Municpal Airport in Norwood, MA, which is only some thirty minutes from Weymouth (by back road no less) I feld=t that I HAD to get a good look at them...
...and the "rarest of all" of their aircraft, one of what I believe is only TWO still-flying B-24 Liberator bombers in the world, the Foundation's "Witchcraft" B-24J Liberator, visited Norwood Airport last Sunday, October 4th, 2009.
MORE photos from that event will be visible at http://www.clipwings.com/ ...and just click the "Military Aviation" item in the left-hand menu there, to see more photos that my Pentax K100D and I took at that event last Sunday...the planes were NOT flying that day, because of bad weather that had the whole area totallt overcast wile I was there, but thanks to a little help from Corel Photo-Paint 12, I'm getting these photos looking nicer as time goes by, for posting up at clipwings.com !!!
Hope you get a chance to check out that site...AND enjoy this photo for a "starter"...
Yours Sincerely,
The PIPE! | | Camera | Pentax K100D | | Lens | Standard 18-55mm Pentax DA autofocus | | Location | Norwood Airport, Norwood, MA | |
