Late Fall Colors
I also find your landscapes insperational. I noticed in another comment that you used HDR to mimic a neutral density filter effect. First are your shooting RAW? and do you find using HDR a better approach then neutral density filters? Thanks

Late Fall Colors
Thank you Yes, I do use RAW always. And Photomatix has very good quality RAW converter built-in. Using GND filters gives higher contrast to the image and requires less PP to polish, much less (if the scene doesn't have trees etc. in the upper part of frame). But the problem is that for most scenes here in Finland I find that 3stop GND filters are often not enough. Putting 2 cokins in series destroyed the rendering of Sigma 10-20mm. And talk about availability of 5stop ones...zero here. But but with this bulky nikkor any filter is no no. So HDR has been the primary choice so far.
