My neighbour has his lights up early, and I thought this would be a good test for the thread. The streetlights are sodium vapor so the light is missing a lot of the spectrum.
The shot was taken with AWB, and then used the WB dropper on the window frames, which are white. There is still some yellow tint in the snowbank, but the house colours are very close. The EXIF data shows 1/4 sec. @ f2.8. I spot metered, then took two series of 5 exposures at 1 stop intervals. The first series was based on the spot metering; the with -1.5x EF added to give me a series of .5 stop differences. This is the one I liked best. |
