Title Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception pano
Description This is a 3-shot vertical panorama of an ethereal cathedral in Portland, Maine I shot yesterday for World Pentax Day. The full pano is 14 shots, sweeping up from the floor to halfway across the entire vaulted ceiling, but when I thought about making its longest side only 850 pixels, I realized how miniscule it would look! So, I used only 3 shots to get this, and it still seems to view at a good size. It was taken with my Pentax 10-17 mm fisheye at 17 mm at f/16, exposures of 1.5 sec, ISO 200 (to make exposure time shorter due to a mass being about to start!) I put it together in PS CS3, denoised and sharpened slightly. --Cindy

A really nice photo, using the 10-17 when it is at its best. Impressive building.

Beautiful composition. Love the crispness and the vertical feel. You've captured what a church should be in my mind! Nice job!

It's a nice photo, I like the high key look, but it would be a lot more impressive if you straightened it up, so it wasn't leaning to the right.
