Hey there DVD,
I've the same lens you have, did you have it set to macro (and fortify yourself with several shots of High Octane Joy Juice before getting up close and personal with His Worship), or just use the telephoto (which would have been my choice, though I'd still have Imbibed, just to be sure) at a reasonable range?
