| Title |
Low cost macro |
| Description |
I wanted to try some shooting macro but the macro lenses are quite expensive. So I got a Pentax A 50mm 1:1.7 and a 2x TC on ebay, total cost about $60. This way I also got a beautiful 50 mm prime lens.
It actaully turned out to work quite well for macro shooting. Here is the result of an initial attempt, chasing after a bumble bee in the garden. I used the pop up flash, which is not optimal for close ups, but it still turned out decently I think. |
