@JeremytheIndian: The advantage to GeoCoding an image is that you know where you took it -- and if uploaded to a service (like one supported by Google Maps), it can be connected to the location on the map automatically.

I will manually Geocode images (from handheld GPS) it I want them to appear on Google Maps but, honestly, that is rare.

I love mine too! I just wish I had a good reason to buy a second one to take advantage of the price drop.

The O-GPS1 has some cool features that are not advertised very well. When you take a picture, it records many more things besides what is the GPS coordinate. It records the direction of the image you were taking and well as very accurate GPS info. Not only that, but you can program into the SD card on your camera, places where you want to go and use the camera as a GPS device. For me, this is a wonderful feature set, as I can make a list of shots I want via Google Maps, put the coordinates in, and I can walk to the locations. The device is very cool too in that it uses the flash data bus to communicate and uses it's own power supply. It also weatherproof. It's a GREAT little device!

Am I the only person that doesn't see the benefit in geo-tagging my photographs? Whats the appeal. Not judging just looking for use cases.
