Let's put a bunch of nice lenses at the edge of tiny wobbly table and see how many aficionados take this review seriously.
Never mind IBIS, where is the ITS (In-Table Stabilisation)?
Living in "shaky" Christchurch NZ, I was waiting for one of those frequent aftershocks to topple them. The earth moves so often here that somehow I now expect it to be moving everywhere! Just a 4.0 would topple those if you were moderately close to the epicenter (I have had 4s spill my coffee a few times now).
Looking forward to the full review!
So I wasn't the only one hopelessly distracted by the wobbly table and thinking, "Adam, NOOOOOOO!"
Oui, oui, oui ... attention à la table ! Ca fait peur ! Merci encore, J Frog
looking good ! thanks for that
oh good....LCD zoom+focus peaking is essential with f1.2
Adam, please change the table )
Waiting full review.
I couldn't even pay attention to the narration. I was stuck waiting for the lenses to fall.
An update on zooming in live view with manual lenses: it is in fact possible, though half-pressing the shutter button doesn't do the trick! You have to use the OK button instead, and then the e-dial to zoom in and out (2x-6x range)
Oh boy that table! :-)
That was a very nice teaser to the review. The entire time I was watching, I was nervous that the FA* 80-200mm was going to tip off the edge of that wobbly looking table! :-)
