Pentax Store Opens in Paris

By PF Staff in Pentax Announcements on Nov 16, 2014

We were just informed by Ricoh Imaging Europe that a brand new Pentax store opened  in Paris this past Thursday. This store is 100% dedicated to Ricoh Imaging products and is the first shop of it's kind - Ricoh has supported the project but the store is owned by the photo specialist group Image Photo who has 26 stores in the France.

At this store you can discover all the products of Pentax / Ricoh. You can try out all their digital cameras like the Pentax K-mount series, the mirrorless Pentax Q-system, the Ricoh GR, the Ricoh Theta which shoots 360 degrees panoramas or the medium format Pentax 645Z. The various accessories are also available. The store has a photo studio where you can try out the products you're interested in.

It is thus worthwhile to visit the store should you find yourself in Paris. The address is IMAGE PHOTO PENTAX, 3 rue Lucien Sampaix 75010 Paris.

The concept of this store is to showcase the wide selection of products that are available from Ricoh Imaging including the many color options of the Pentax Q-S1 (40) and Pentax K-S1 (15).

The weather-resistant products have their own "Outdoors" section.

Finally, to reconnect with the rich history of Pentax brand over nearly a century, the store features a showcase "museum" with the many historical models of Pentax.

All in all, this store seems well worth a visit since you not only can "try before you buy", but also explore all product lines and learn about the long history of the Pentax brand.

This looks to like a new milestone for the Pentax brand, as such as store had previously never existed outside of Japan!
