Announcing the 2011 Holiday Giveaway

PentaxForums.com is proud to announce its largest giveaway competition to date, sponsored by the New York superstore B&H Photo.  Participate for a chance to make your holiday gear wishes come true!

The event starts next Monday, November 14th, and will continue through the holiday season and end on January 31st, 2012.  For this giveaway, each participant will indicate the top item on his or her holiday wishlist (it can be anything photographic, including Pentax gear). 

The grand prize will be very unique: we will help fulfill your holiday wishes by getting you the top item on your wishlist, or paying for part of it (if your wish is too great for Santa to handle)!  There will also be 7 other cash prizes, sent to you as B&H gift cards: $150 for second place, $100 for third place, and $50 for each of the runners-up (a total of 5 fourth-place winners).  If you wanted to see a Pentax camera or lens underneath your Christmas tree, we can help make that happen!  A K-5, DA* 50-135mm, or Sigma 85mm F1.4 would all be reasonable things to wish for...!  Already know what you would like?  Share it on our Facebook page!

No purchase is necessary to enter the giveaway.  All you need to do is submit a photographic article or how-to guide about something you are passionate about.  The article can be about photographic technique, Pentax equipment, or software.  Submissions will be processed on our website at a URL which we will provide when the event officially kicks off (edit: submit here).  If you don't already have a forum account, please create one in order to participate- it's free!

The writers of the best articles will be the winners- and select posts will even be featured on our homepage, giving you a chance to link back to your personal sites if you so choose.
