Impact Light Stand / Reflector Holder and Large Reflector

Background

I wanted to include a little background information for this review. For years I've been using the diagram below to take photographs.

The diagram demonstrates my typical setup, a typical Pentax flash (AF 360 or AF 540 set on Manual, power adjusted as needed) attached to a tripod and an assistant holding the reflector. An assistant wasn't always available and sometimes it was difficult to get the assistant to hold the reflector at just the right angle.

I did a few portrait sessions without an assistant and decided it was time to purchase a reflector holder. I did a little research and browsed a couple online stores before finding this reasonably priced light stand from B&H and with the opportunity at hand to review this product with one of their reflectors I thought this would be the perfect time to show you what I could do.

Here's a few examples of what I've been able to do with an assistant and my Pentax K10D, the FA 43 Limited attached for most of these, a 42" collapsible disc reflector and one of the Pentax flashes mentioned above.
