Here we take a quick look at what comes with each lens.

DA 70mm f2.4

The Pentax DA 70mm package includes the lens, a MH-RD 49mm lens hood, a metal slip on front cap, a rear cap and a lens pouch. The MH-RD lens hood is unique because it both screws on to the front of the lens and retracts. When initially examining the lens, it seemed like it had a built-in lens hood, like the FA 77mm, but there were no filter threads. Upon further examination, it became apparent that the hood is removable and it extends an additional ½ inch. The picture below shows the lens, hood, and the extremely deep front lens cap. The lens is available in both silver and black finish. The package also includes a user manual and warranty papers.

The Pentax FA 77mm package includes the lens, a metal slip on front cap, a rear cap and a lens pouch. The lens pouch is rather unique with the Pentax name in gold leaf. It makes for a very attractive addition. The lens has a built-in front hood that if always ready, if needed. The lens is available in both silver and black finish. However, the silver finish is currently discontinued. The package also includes a user manual and warranty papers.
