Fujifilm X10 Review
Film Simulation
As Pentax users we are used to a having a wide array of adjustable image modes and parameters available. The Fujifilm X10 presents another approach: Film Simulation, which we illustrate below. This offers a quite limited range of adjustments. We are not able to determine whether or not you really get an accurate representation of the three Fuji films that can be simulated. What we can say is that we found the monochrome simulation flat and uninteresting. Adding the yellow and red filter simulation didn't improve much on the situation. For monochrome work you're better off using post processing software for the conversion. But we like the Velvia simulation!
