Bounce Flash
For the samples on this page we bounced the flash off a pop corn ceiling. All shots were made with 0 as well as +1 EV compensation and at ISO 400, 800, and 1600.
Setup:
- Pentax K-3 in P exposure mode
- Unprocessed JPGs (except for scaling)
- Autofocus with center focus point
- smc Pentax-A, -F, and -FA 50mm F1.4 lenses
- AF 360 FGZ II flash mounted on camera
- Bounced off the ceiling

Observations:
- The F-series is a tad brighter than the FA
- Flash zoom must be set manually for all lens types when in bounce mode
- +1 EV compensation is required to avoid underexposure
