Pentax MX-1 Review
What's in the Box
The Pentax MX-1 comes in an "eco-friendly" box, which we don't think does justice to its beautiful retro design. A sticker placed on top of the box indicates the color of the camera within.
Inside the box you'll find a number of essential accessories.
This includes:
- The MX-1 body itself
- D-Li106 rechargeable battery
- Battery charger
- AC power cord
- S-SW130 software CD
- Camera strap
- Front cap and leash
- Manual
- Quick start guide
- Serial number card
- Other paperwork (serial correction sheet, notice of company name change)
The neck strap that's included is small and very thin, but so are the strap lugs on the camera. It would be difficult to put a standard strap on the MX-1. We recommend attaching the lens cap to the camera body using the provided leash to avoid losing it. The cap should always be used when the camera is stowed in order to protect the lens.
