With a maximum aperture of F2.0 at the widest zoom setting, the WG-4 will excel at low-light photography compared to cameras before the WG-3. Competing cameras currently do not offer this fast aperture.
The WG-4 is behind the competition in a few areas, such as video and the resolution of its LCD screen.
