The edges of the box are marked with "013", which is Sigma's internal designation for this lens.
Warranty Information
Sigma USA offers a 1-year base warranty plus a 3-year extended warranty free of charge (4 years total) when the lens is purchased in the US from a US authorized dealer, such as B&H Photo.
In other countries, the warranty period for lenses purchased from authorized dealers is as follows:
- Canada - 7 years
- Australia / New Zealand - 2 years
- Europe - 3 years
- South America - 1 year
