What's in the Box
The SMC Pentax-DA 50mm F1.8 comes with the following components and accessories inside its box:
- The lens itself
- Front Lens Cap O-LC52N
- Rear Lens Cap K (push-type)
- Serial number card / warranty information
There is no pouch or hood included, which is to be expected considering the price point.
The Pentax S70-70 pouch will fit this lens. We recommend the use of a generic 52mm rubber screw-in hood as an alternative to the Pentax RH-RA52.
Warranty
Ricoh Imaging's warranty coverage depends on the country in which you purchase the lens.
- In the US, the standard warranty is good for one year.
- In Canada and Europe, two years of coverage are included.
- In Australia, the warranty is good for one year.
International warranty service can be obtained for an additional $50/€50 per repair while the warranty is valid.
The only requirement for warranty work is that you keep your receipts. No registration is necessary.
