Time Lapse Guide for Beginners

What is Time Lapse?

Time lapse compresses the duration of a phenomenon into a shoter time span. For example, the movement of clouds across the sky may take a couple of hours. By using time lapse we speed up the process and watch the clouds move the same distance in a couple of minutes. In order to do that we have to take a lot of shots (usually some hundreds will do the job) with a specific time interval between them (for the cloud example a 5 seconds interval will be good) and then make a video from them.
