Pros: | Solid build, light, sturdy, water resistant, fits in a carry-on | Cons: | lack of documentation (is mine really water resistant?) | | I bought this monopod from Amazon in January, 2010 when there was a good promotion. This is my first monopod. Carbon material makes it light, pleasant to look at and touch. The locking grips turn smoothly and quietly with ideal viscosity like the focus ring of a MF lens. Supports K-5 + Sigma 100-300mm F4 + 1.4x teleconverter without any problem.
I was originally looking at more expensive brands, but this Benro is so well built that I can't imagine what those expensive brands can provide on top of this. Highly recommended, and I would buy one again. http://www.benro.cn/ensite/EnProduct.aspx?id=144&SerName=Mg+Twist+lock+Monopod | |
