Pros: | Genuine 4000dpi scans, dual interface, great build | Cons: | can be a little bit slow, only scans 35mm and IX240 | | This scanner gives genuine 4000dpi x 4000dpi scans that equal or surpass scanners worth thousands more! Its has a great build (steel case) and runs extremely smooth but can be a little bit loud. It is slow running on its USB interface but connect via SCSI and it will run fast. The included software is fine but a little bit clunky, I run mine on Vuescan and it takes it to another level. When they were first released they were $1000 or more, they can now be picked up for $200-$300 sometimes even less, for that price nothing scans 35mm better. It also is also still supported with drivers and software for Windows 7, Mac and even Linux.
