Pros: | None | Cons: | Avoid, it charges too quick, Lack of 3rd contact (see text) | | All made in China clone chargers lack the (obligatory) 3-rd contact for the 10kOhm@20°C NTC temperature sensor in the D-LI90 and D-LI109!
Those clone-batteries use a cheap 10kOhm resistor to cheat the origina Pentax charger because they lack this sensor.
All clone chargers are quick-chargers, charge your battery too quick.
I have seen "swollen" clone-batteries which can actually explode. But never any original Pentax batteries, I have original Pentax D-LI90's from 2010 (and original D-LI109's from 2012)
They still charge well. Quite amazing if one knows about Li-Ion technology.

| I also have one of these generic battery chargers. Mine has a "Cellonic" label on it. May not be exactly the same one described in OPīs review. However, build quality is reasonably good and it has served me well. Actually I use it more than the original Pentax charger. The cigarette lighter plug makes it more versatile. This unit also has a USB port.

Pros: | Price, car charging cord | Cons: | None for me | | As I use a battery grip on my K-3, both batteries are discharged at the same time. To speed up the charging process, I purchased this cheaper non-Pentax charger to be able to charge both batteries at once. I am very pleased with its performance. The addition of the car charging cord makes this charger great for holidays, as the batteries can charge whilst moving around from place to place. I can highly recommend this accessory.
