Pros: | Simple to use, yet fairly powerful! Superb slave! | Cons: | No A mode | | This is like a studio flash, in the form of a flash gun, this simple to use, but offers no thrills, beyond M, S1, and S2 mode, the latter two slave modes, with the S1 setting the flash to fire with the camera's first flash, and S2 makes it fire with the main flash. You set the power manually (super-simple!), select M, S1 or S2, and you're cooking!
Used it for a few days, and must say I am very impressed. Works well with the K-5's built-in flash, and I might very well buy some more - closest supplier for me, as far as I'm aware, is www.studio-flash.com, in the UK. Very fast delievery, always a factor when oredering things over the net!
Works well with my Metz 58 AF-1, about the same size, but much lighter. There is a similar white card and fold-down diffuser on both, but the rest of the fancy suff is missing!
At the cost of a 1/10th of a Metz 58 AF-2 it is a steal -)!
