Pros: | Versatile, sturdy, comfortable, looks great | Cons: | Tripod holder is extra | | No bag is perfect, so I gave it a 9. After 3 weeks of ownership I really don't have any complaints. The bags first test was when I shot a junior college water polo game. In the sling position I was able to quickly switch from a 70-210 for all the action to a 17-50 for portraits and scenery. I had the bag slid around my chest the whole time and it was a great platform for my elbows and resting my camera. Once my shoulder got tired I just grabbed the second strap (which has been tucked away this whole time) and turned it into a back pack. Great versatility. Lowepro and Tamrac have similar designs but this was the first and side access is much better. Just undo the large clip and pull. No need to undo both zippers. And it looks way better than the other guys.
In terms of gear, at the water polo shoot, I had a Canon 40D with a 28-135 (don't worry, it was my girl friends camera), my K-7 with out a lens attached in the upper compartment and a Tamron 17-50 and Vivitar 70-210 in the lower compartment. The bag is supposed to carry only one body but I made it work. You can easily fit 4 primes and a body with a zoom in there. I recommend hopping on Youtube and watching the demonstrations for this bag. Pretty cool versatility and technology coming out of Kata.
