This charger was purchased so that I can recharge my D-LI90 batteries while when driving, or with using my USB power bank that use to recharge my smartphone when traveling. So far I've recharged 3 D-LI90 batteries with my RAV 16 000 mAh power bank . There is a dual color led indicator on the charger. When the charger is plugged in to the power bank, the led light up to green. When the D-LI90 battery in mounted and charging, the led light switches to red. When the D-LI90 battery is fully charged, the charger led goes to green, the load current on the RAV power drops, the RAV automatically switches off.
I actually prefer the Lemix charger to the Pentax D-BC90 original charger because:
- USB charger led indicator communicated well the charging state
- USB charger and battery stay cold during charging
- USB charger is barely larger than a D-LI90 battery itself, I can have it in a corner of my camera bag as part of my traveling kit.
- The power bank has two output ports, so I can recharge a D-LI90 battery while charging my phone.
One negative for the charger: has a micro USB input instead of USB-C, so it's necessary to bring the short usb cable provided with the charger, instead of using the USB-C phone cable.
