Pros: | Well designed and made. | Cons: | None. Possibly could use a Tripod strap. | | I worked out of it on a trip to New Mexico and have worn it on two hikes. It's comfortable and well ventilated. I've never needed to make use of the Laptop compartment. Easily holds a body, a few lenses and a flash unit.

Pros: | comfy, durable, side entry for camera, discrete, laptop compartment | Cons: | no tripod holder, not great for longer lenses | | I bought mine from Amazon in late 2011. Since then it's served me well, including on international trips to Europe and Asia. On my next trip, it will hold the following gear:
K5IIs w/ grip w/ DA* 16-50mm attached
K-01 w/ 40mm XS attached
Sigma 8-16mm
DA 21mm
FA 31mm
FA 77mm
Sirui T-025x
77mm filter x 3 with step up rings
Cleaning accessories
15 inch macbook pro
7 inch e-reader Pros- doesn't stand out
- top compartment fits my travel tripod, maintaining discrete appearance
- side access is convenient
- back of bag and straps are well padded
Cons- no external tripod holder
- bad for telephoto lenses (DA* 60-250mm only fits in the bag while mounted to the camera)
I was able to stitch some nylon webbing to the side of the bag to allow me to carry a full size tripod with two legs in the bottle holder. While this works, it's certainly not ideal. It's also not great for long lenses as they don't fit in any of the padded slots. Overall a solid bag with only a couple flaws.

Pros: | Layout, space, padding, comfortable to wear all day | Cons: | Side mesh pocket and elastic not secure enough for normal drink bottle | | I purchased Lowepro Fastpack 250 last year for a 14 week trip covering UK, Canada and Alaska. I wanted a smallish backpack to carry my camera gear and have space for extras for day hikes eg. water, raincoat etc. and to use as carry-on luggage on flights.
I carried in Main compartment: Pentax K-7, DA*16-50mm; DA 55-300mm; Sigma 28-80 macro; Raynox 150 & 250; lens brush; polariser filters; 4 memory cards
Front bottom compartment: Camera raincoat; notepad; anti-theft wire & lock
Front middle compartment: Gloves; folded up bag;
Front top compartment: Raincoat; memorykick backup; personal hygene/medicine kit; pens; ipod
Laptop compartment: Travel documents eg hotel bookings etc; camera manual; fold up umbrella; reading material; extra memory cards.
I felt secure placing my purse in the laptop compartment as the zip is well hidden and can only be accessed when the pack is off your back leaving my hands free for photography while in cities.
It is very comfortable to wear all day, even without the waist strap done up and especially the padding on the back .
I have deducted 1 point as the only downside is the mesh side pocket and adjustable elastic doesn't hold a normal size drink bottle securely, I would prefer it to be deeper.
I use this to carry my gear at all times (used 13 week of the 14 week trip) and although I suffer back pain found that I don't when I use this.
I am away for another 10 week trip this year and will be taking my K-5 and DA*60-250mm (fits in laying down) instead of DA55-300mm and Sigma lens.

Pros: | Layout, speed, paddings, space, size | Cons: | laptop storage too close to your back, front pocket too small | | I recently got myself a lovely pentax k-x 18-55 & 55-300 twins lens combo set and was looking for a good bag to go with it. my requirement was very simple. I need a bag which can carry a laptop, my k-x and enough room for other trivial things that I happen to buy along the way.
And here we have it!
The quick access to my K-x via sling-style opening on the left is amazing! It feels like a Lowepro slingshot bag which opens on the left-hand side, give quick access to your DSLR and memory card (via small memory card pocket location inside the opening) without sitting the bag on the table or floor. This is very useful when trying to capture precious moments.
The main compartment has enough room for me to store my k-x + 2 lens + flash! The top compartment is very spacious that I could almost fit my full family guy (big fan here!) dvd collection into it. The laptop space is big enough to fill a 15" laptop with space to spare! Also the straps are nice and sturdy, which give great support to your shoulder, and also they have included the waist support for those extra heavy loading.
The minor down of the bag is that, if you fit a slightly thicker laptop inside, it will push against the back padding which makes your back slightly uncomfortable. Also there is a small pocket in the front which suppose to let you keep your phone. However, I found that is a bit too small for most morden day smart phone.
Overall, I like this bag, it is very practical for day-to-day uses and strong padding to protect your DSLR. And I would definitely recommand it to beginner - intermediate DSLR user travelling around, carrying a basic amount of equipment.
