A very good item,it came with a mono pod and tripod I bought.
There are Chinese copies that are around a third the price though,so for spares that are permanently on some small cameras I use,the el cheapos do the job.

As I result of pjv recommendation below, I bought both this and the Manfrotto Monopod Tilt Head with Quick Release 234RC at the same time.
They both use the same plates and are therefore interchangeable, which allows easy switching between monopod and tripod.
Really like the safety catch system on the release lever, as I have been known to knock these catches open with some other systems.  | |

The Manfrotto 323 quick release system allows for the standardization of tripod/monopod heads. The mounting plate attaches to any head via the 1/4 or 3/8 threaded base plate. The RC2 quick release plates can be bought separately to allow for multiple pieces of equipment to be attached. The generic no-name copies are not very good as they do not hold the RC2 plate as securely as the real article. I can highly recommend the genuine Manfrotto system.
